FAQs

  • Our provider’s schedules are constantly rotating. There may be periods where one or more providers do not have appointments available and other times when they have openings and can schedule quickly. Please reach out via phone (call or text) or email to inquire about availability.

  • Everyone’s specific insurance plan is different. Therefore, we cannot determine what your out-of-pocket costs will be. You will need to contact your insurance and ask what your financial responsibility will be for an outpatient mental/behavioral health office visit.

  • We require 48 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations. Appointments cancelled within 48 hours and no-shows are subject to a $175 late cancellation fee.

  • Please contact us via phone or email If you’re going to be more than 10 minutes late to an appointment. If you are more than 20 minutes late, your appointment will need to be rescheduled, and you will be charged for a late cancellation/no show ($175 fee).

  • We do not require a phone consult before scheduling an initial appointment. If you meet with one of our providers for a first appointment, and they determine they are not the right fit for your needs then we will provide you with a list of referrals.

  • This is a standard request for all clients and primarily used for ease of use. If you’re using in-network insurance, we will submit claims to your insurance provider and then invoice you based on what your insurance determines your out-of-pocket responsibility is.  If you have a balance, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and/or approve processing this balance with the card on file. You can also setup autopay and/or process your balance with an alternative payment method. Your credit card will only be charged automatically if you have a balance and do not respond to repeated attempts/communication to reconcile this.

  • Our providers are currently in-network with the following insurance providers:

    • Aetna

    • BCBS

    • Cigna

    • United Healthcare/Optum

  • If our providers are out-of-network with your insurance, you will be responsible for the appointment fee at the time of the appointment and you will be provided with a “super bill” once the balance is paid. A super bill is a document that you can submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement – you will submit this to your insurance yourself and your insurance will send you any reimbursement rate based on your plan.

    • Initial Appointments (up to 60 min) : $260

    • Follow Up Appointments (up to 60 min): $195

    • Additional fees apply for appointments longer than 60 minutes

    • Late cancellation/no-show: $175

  • All of our providers are licensed in Texas. Some may be licensed in other states. The founder, Megan Powell, PhD holds a PSYPACT credential to treat clients virtually across the US. See below for PSYPACT state map to see where this applies. See blog post to learn more about PSYPACT.

  • Please keep your practice policy documents for contact information on requesting healthcare records. If you are an active client, you can send a records request through the client portal.
