E’Mersai Glass, MA, LPC
**Will accept new clients at the Conscious Adapt in late October 2026**
Hello! My name is E’Mersai Glass, MA, LPC
I believe therapy should be a space where you can be honest about where you are while also being supported in where you want to go. I value creating a therapeutic relationship that feels genuine, safe, and comfortable, while also being willing to have honest conversations when they are needed.
I graduated from Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology and transferred Sam Houston State University to complete my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2024.
I have worked in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy settings and substance abuse treatment, and treat those experiencing substance use, trauma, and co-occurring disorders as well as working with complex and often deeply personal mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life transitions and emotion dysregulation.
E’Mersai’s Training and Clinical Qualifications
My clinical experience includes working with adults experiencing substance use concerns, co-occurring mental health conditions, trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, relationship concerns, life transitions, and challenges related to recovery and relapse prevention.
I have particular experience utilizing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and trauma informed care. I incorporate these approaches to help clients better understand their emotions, recognize patterns of behavior, build healthier coping strategies, improve communication and relationships, establish boundaries, and develop greater confidence in their ability to manage difficult situations.
I believe effective therapy should be individualized. What works for one person may not work for another, which is why I take time to understand each client's experiences, strengths, challenges, and goals. My goal is to provide treatment that is both clinically informed and practical enough to carry into everyday life.
E’Mersai’s Approach
My approach to therapy is warm, direct, collaborative, and practical. I want my clients to feel comfortable being themselves in the therapy room while also knowing that I will be honest with them. There are times we need validation and other times when we need to be challenged – therapy should provide room for both.
I draw from DBT, cognitive behavioral approaches, trauma informed care, mindfulness, emotional regulation, and relapse prevention strategies. Together, we will work to better understand what is happening beneath the surface, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop healthier ways of responding to the challenges in your life.
How can you expect me to be?
You can expect to be heard without judgment, and you can expect accountability. I will meet you where you are while encouraging you to continue growing from there. My role is not to tell you how to live your life or make decisions for you. I want to help you develop the insight, skills, and confidence to make those decisions for yourself.
I believe therapy is a process of planting seeds but planting them is only the beginning. My goal is to help you nurture those seeds, water them, and create the space for meaningful growth to take place. We can start where you are and work from there.
